Divers Head to USA National Qualifiers

Cards will compete in Morgantown
LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- The University of Louisville will send two divers to the 2023 USA Diving National Championship qualifier May 16-18 in Morgantown, W.V.

Lindsay Gizzi and Grace Leonard will represent the Cardinals at the competition. Gizzi qualified for the NCAA Championships on the 1M board. At the USA Nationals, Gizzi  and Leonard will both compete on the 1M and 3M springboard and will also compete in the 3-meter synchro as a pair.

Competition takes place at the Aquatic Center at Mylan Park.

The 3M springboard competition begins on Wednesday, May 17 with the qualifier going off at 5 p.m. The 1M prelims will be contested on Thursday, May 18 at 5 p.m. On Friday, the two will dive synchro prelims at 10 a.m. with the finals going off at 3 p.m. should they advance.
