Cardinals Travel to Notre Dame for Final Regular Season Game

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The University of Louisville lacrosse team ends the regular season as they travel to Notre Dame on Thursday at 7 p.m. ET at the Arlotta Family Lacrosse Stadium.
The Cardinals advanced to 5-10 on the season and 2-6 in the ACC after downing Duke 14-13 on senior day at the UofL Lacrosse Stadium.
UofL was led by a stellar defensive performance from goalie Sara Addeche. The junior matched the program record with 17 saves in a game, 11 of which came in the second half. The only other Cardinal to record 17 saves in a game was Rachel Florek in 2020.
Perroni led the offense with a team-high six points, with a season-high five goals and one assist. Perroni extended her goal-scoring streak and point-scoring streak to 34, tying the program record for goal-scoring streak held by Emily Dashiell (May 1, 2009-April 29, 2011). The senior recorded three ground balls, six draw controls, and two caused turnovers.
Negai Nakazawa had a career-high four points and earned the first hat trick of her career. The freshman had two ground balls, two draw controls, and one caused turnover. Hannah Morris also earned a hat trick, her fourth of the season.
Allegra Catalano, Kokoro Nakazawa, and Izzy Seikel each scored a goal. Tiffany Natoli earned an assist.
About the Irish
Notre Dame (11-4, 5-3 ACC) had a statement victory over Robert Morris, 21-6, Sunday afternoon. Four players recorded hat tricks and 11 total individuals scored a goal in the win. Kasey Choma and Mary Kelly Doherty each scored four goals. Choma had one ground ball and two draw controls, while Doherty earned two ground balls, nine draw controls, and one caused turnover. Lilly Callahan spent 53:06 minutes guarding the net and recorded seven saves. The Irish allowed less than 10 goals for the 10th time this season.
