LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The University of Louisville women's tennis head coach Mark Beckham has released the 2024 spring schedule. The Cardinals' schedule includes matchups against 10 opponents that appeared in the NCAA Tournament last season, including defending national champion North Carolina and a Final Four team in NC State.
Â
Louisville begins the year with consecutive doubleheaders at home, one vs. EKU and Lipscomb on January 20 and the other vs. MTSU and Kennesaw State on January 28, then close out the homestand vs. Austin Peay on February 1.
Â
The Cards play their two road matches in Huntington, West Virginia, one against Marshall on February 9 and the other vs. Memphis on February 11, before heading back home for three straight matches, with a match vs. crosstown foe Bellarmine on February 16, the beginning of ACC play against Virginia Tech on February 23, and a matchup vs. Virginia, an Elite Eight team last year, on February 25.
Â
Louisville then heads on the road again for three matches, at Wake Forest on March 1, at NC State on March 3, and at Memphis on March 8. Following that, a homestand of four matches awaits the Cards beginning on March 8 and running through March 23, with all four against tournament teams a year ago: Notre Dame, Miami, Florida State, and Xavier.
Â
The Cardinals' final road trip opens with Clemson and Georgia Tech on March 29 and 31, respectively, before concluding with Boston College and Syracuse the following weekend. Louisville closes out the regular season with a home showdown vs. North Carolina on April 12 and Senior Day vs. Duke on April 14.
Â
The ACC Championships will be held in Cary, N.C., on April 17-21, with the NCAA Selection Show announcing the tournament field on April 29.
