
Women’s Soccer Places 17 on All-ACC Academic Team

It is the most players on the team in program history
LOUISVILLE, Ky. — 17 University of Louisville women's soccer student-athletes were named to the 2022 All-ACC Team, the conference announced on Wednesday. The 17 student-athletes were the most representatives the Cardinals have had on the team since they joined the ACC in 2014.
Louisville players represented on the team are defender Ravin Alexander, midfielder Morgan Bentley, defender Karsyn Cherry, forward Addie Chester, forward Brooke Dardano, Forward Corinne Dente, goalie Erynn Floyd, forward Mackenzie Geigle, defender Sarah Hernandez, midfielder Hayley Howard, forward Emersen Jennings, forward Maya Maxwell, defender Lizzie Sexton, forward Patricia Ward, midfielder Autumn Weeks, forward Maisie Whitsett and forward Savina Zamborini.
This past fall semester, the Cards registered a 3.721 team GPA. They had 29 student-athletes who earned AD Honor Roll status, which is a 3.0 GPA or higher in the semester. 28 student-athletes earned Red and Black scholar status, which is a 3.25 GPA or higher in the semester. A total of 11 student-athletes had a perfect 4.0 GPA in the fall semester.
Minimum academic requirements for selection to the All-ACC Academic Team are a 3.0 grade point average for the previous semester and a 3.0 cumulative average during one's academic career. Athletic achievements during the most recent season are also considered in selecting the All-ACC Academic Team.
