
Louisville Lacrosse Hosts Notre Dame on Senior Day

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – University of Louisville lacrosse hosts Senior Day against Notre Dame on Saturday afternoon at 12 p.m. ET at Cardinal Stadium. The game will be broadcast on ACC Network.

The Cardinals are coming off a 19-10 win at Niagara and are looking to end the season with two straight wins heading into the ACC Tournament.

Prior to the game, student manager Courtney Jackson, student assistant coach Kelly Coughlan will be recognized along with graduate students Sarah and Caroline Blalock, seniors Hannah Morris, Paige Richbourg, Kirsten Parker and Abby Roskovich and redshirt-junior Kristen Pezzullo.Â

#6 Caroline Blalock – Graduate, Midfielder, Ellicott City, Md.
Â
Caroline has played in 76 games, the most by any player in program history, with 54 starts and has been a captain her entire career. She is one of 11 players in Louisville program history to accumulate 100 goals and ranks ninth all-time with 137. She ranks second all-time in program history with 85 caused turnovers, 159 ground balls and 55 assists and ranks fifth all-time with 141 draw controls. This season, she leads the Cardinals with 17 assists and 32 ground balls and is second on the team with 48 points and third with 31 goals.Â

#24 Sarah Blalock – Graduate, Defender, Ellicott City, Md.

Sarah has played in 76 games, the most by any player in program history, with 55 starts and has been a captain for two seasons. She has recorded 73 draw controls, 70 ground balls and 42 caused turnovers in her career and is regarded as one of the top defenders in the nation, limiting the offensive output of many of the country's top players.Â

#4 Hannah Morris – Senior, Attacker, Orillia, Ontario, Canada

Hannah has played in 57 games, making 28 starts during her four-year career. She became the 11th player in Louisville program history to score 100 goals on April 16 at Syracuse. She has tallied 121 points on 105 goals and 16 assists with a .469 shot percentage and 24 ground balls. As a sophomore, she played in all nine games of the shortened season and led the team with 21 goals and 25 points. Last year, she ranked third on the team with 25 goals and 27 points. Her 53 goals this season lead the team and rank third in the ACC and 15th in the nation while her 62 points lead the team and rank eighth in the conference. She has scored multiple goals in 15 of 16 games this year and twice set her career-high with six goals against Ohio State and Syracuse.

#9 Kristen Pezzullo – Redshirt-junior, Midfielder, Manalapan, N.J.

Kristen has played in 15 games with one start in her career. She has played in eight games this year and tallied her first career goal and assist against Butler.

#13 Paige Richbourg – Senior, Midfielder, Clifton, Va.Â

Paige has played in 59 games, making 22 starts in her career. She has recorded 85 career draw controls, which ranks 9th all-time in Louisville history. She also has 35 goals, 10 assists, 51 ground balls and 42 caused turnovers. As a sophomore, she played in all nine games in the shortened season, making five starts, and finished with 11 goals, one assist, five ground balls, 10 caused turnovers and 21 draw controls. Last season, she played in all 16 games and tallied four goals, one assist, 11 ground balls, 10 caused turnovers and 10 draw controls. This season, she ranks fourth on the team with 20 draw controls and fifth with 14 goals.Â

Kirsten has played in 48 games with five starts in her career. She has six goals, three assists, nine points, nine ground balls, seven caused turnovers and 19 draw controls in her four-year career. As a sophomore, she played in five games and tallied two goals on the year. Last season, she played in 11 games and made one start, finishing the year with one assist, one ground ball, one caused turnover and one draw control. This season, she has played in 14 games and has recorded two ground balls and four draw controls.

#34 Abby Roskovich – Senior, Defender, Salisbury, Md.Â

Abby has played in 34 games with 22 starts. She has 13 ground balls and six turnovers in her four-year career. As a sophomore, she played in nine games, making four starts, and finished with the season with seven ground balls and four caused turnovers. Last season, she saw action in nine games.

ABOUT THE FIGHTING IRISHÂ
The Fighting Irish are 7-8, 2-5 in the Atlantic Coast Conference this season. Notre Dame is on a two-win streak and is entering the game off a 19-10 win at Marquette. The Irish are led by junior attacker Madison Ahern and junior midfielder Kasey Choma. Ahern leads the team and is seventh in the ACC with 49 goals while Choma has tallied 46 goals, which rank 11th in the league. Grad-student Bridget Deehan has been of the best between the pipes in the ACC this season. Deehan ranks second in saves (124) and saves per game (8.27) and is third in save percentage (.441). As a team, Notre Dame is second in the league with 9.20 caused turnovers per game.Â
