Kyle Worrell Named ACC Swimmer of the Week

GREENSBORO, N.C. (theACC.com) – Louisville's Kyle Worrell has been named the final Atlantic Coast Conference Men's Swimmer of the Week for the 2022 season.

Worrell recorded two first-place finishes as well as a runner-up finish at the Louisville First Chance Invitational last weekend. He recorded an NCAA B cut time in the 100 freestyle, winning with a time 43.54 seconds. The native of Westhampton, New Jersey, also finished first in the 200 free in 1:36.48. He placed second in the 50 free (43.54)

The 2022 ACC Men's and Women's Swimming & Diving Championships began Tuesday and will be contested through Saturday at McAuley Aquatic Center on the campus of Georgia Tech in Atlanta.
