
Lowe and Ulett Win ACC Swimmer of the Week Honors

LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- University of Louisville swimmers Tristen Ulett and Dalton Lowe have been named as ACC Swimmers of the Week.

With four wins, Lowe helped the men to a 172-128 win over Notre Dame in South Bend on Friday.
In the 200 Medley relay , Dalton Lowe (21.61), Denis Petrashov (24.29), Haridi Sameh (20.77) and Michael Eastman (19.62) combined forces to post the winning time of 1:26.29, a time that ranks No. 16 nationally. Lowe was the winner in the men's 100 backstroke with a time of 47.15 for the Cardinals. That time ranks 21st nationally and is an NCAA B cut. He won the men's 100 fly with a time of 46.46 for his third win of the meet with that swim ranking No. 12 nationally for a B-cut. He was a part of the Louisville men winning the 400 Free relay in a time of 2:53.35 put up by Abdelrahman El-Araby (44.15), Murilo Sartori (42.88), Dalton Lowe (43.22) and Michael Eastman (43.10), that time ranks No. 8 nationally/

Ulett helped the Cardinals to a 191-102 win over Notre Dame in South Bend, winning three individual events.  She won the 200 freestyle (1:48.39) by a full second ahead of the field. She got her second sprint victory with a win in the 100 freestyle in 50.03 winning by full second. She led the Cards to the top two spots for the sweep in the 200 IM with a winning time of 2:01.89.
