Next up is Grigory Tarasevich in the 200 Backstroke

TOKYO -- University of Louisville swimming had two Cardinals swimming on Wednesday, with both advancing from prelims at the Tokyo Olympic Games.

Incoming freshman Murilo Sartori swam in the finals of the of the 4x200M Freestyle Relay, turning in a split of 1:46.09 as Brazil went 7:08.22 to finish 8th. The top seed, Great Britain, won gold with a time of 6:58.58 to won Great Britain's first gold medal in this event.

Andrej Barna posted a lifetime best time of 47.94 in the semifinals of the 100M Freestyle to finish 9th swimming for Serbia. Kliment Kolesnikov of Russia won heat 2 with 47.11 to earn the top seed going into the finals. Caeleb Dressel clocked in at 47.23 as the second seed and the top American.

Tomorrow, the Cardinals will feature backstroke specialist Grigory Tarasevich, who will be swimming in the 200M Backstroke prelims for Russia.
