LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The University of Louisville women's soccer team completed a successful spring semester in the classroom, posting a 3.523 team grade-point average. They conclude the 2020-21 academic year with a 3.560 GPA.
Louisville women's soccer has now successfully achieved above a 3.0 GPA every semester since 2000.
"This was a very difficult year in so many ways so I'm very proud of our players' commitment to their schoolwork and staying focused academically," said head coach Karen Ferguson-Dayes.
In addition, 23 of 26 players finished with a 3.0 or better, while Caitlin Elam, Kiana Klein, Nadege L'Esperance and Olivia Pratapas were named Dean's Scholars for a perfect 4.0 GPA.
Lana Batson and Kendra Steele graduated in the spring, while L'Esperance is scheduled to graduate this summer.
