Incoming Cardinal will compete in the FINA Diving World Cup
Incoming freshman Nico Schaller heads to Tokyo, Japan at the Tokyo Aquatics Centre to compete at the 2021 FINA World Cup representing his native Austria.

The best divers from around the world will compete in Tokyo from the 3m springboard and 10m platform in both individual and synchronized events to become World Cup champion. The FINA Diving World Cup 2021 also serves as a qualifying competition for Diving at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.
Nico will compete in the men's 3-meter springboard competition on Wednesday, May 5 where the top 18 participants will earn a quota spot at the 2021 Olympic Games for their respective country.ÂÂ
