LOUISVILLE, Ky. - No. 17 University of Louisville women's lacrosse wraps up the regular season this weekend with a matchup at No. 6 Notre Dame on Saturday at 1 p.m. ET. The game will broadcast live on ACC Network Extra.

The Cardinals are 5-9 overall and 1-8 in conference play. The Fighting Irish enter Saturday's game at 7-5 on the year and 4-5 in the league.

Louisville is in the midst of a stretch where they play top 5 teams in six of its final nine games and top 10 teams in eight of nine. The Cards are 0-6 against top five teams this season and 0-9 against top 10 teams.

On April 16, Caroline Blalock became the 10th player in UofL history to reach 100 career goals. Blalock, who was named an ILWomen Midseason Second Team All-America, leads the team with 10 assists, 28 ground balls, 19 caused turnovers, and 35 draw controls.

Ally Hall leads the team and ranks seventh in the ACC with 32 goals. Her 2.29 goals per game rank 10th and her 5.07 shots per game rank eighth in the league. She currently has a 13-game scoring streak, including nine multi-goal games, which matches the longest goal-scoring streak of her career.

Hall has 97 career goals and is three shy from becoming the 11th player in program history to reach 100 career goals.

Alex McNicholas ranks second on the team with 34 draw controls and 16 turnovers. She led the team in draws during her freshman and junior seasons and her 172 career draws rank third all-time in UofL history.

The Fighting Irish concluded the shortened 2020 campaign with a 7-0 record and advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament in 2019. Kasey Choma leads the team with 28 points, while Samantha Lynch has tallied 27. Lynch has a team-high 33 points, and Madison Ahern paves the way with 13 assists. Andie Aldave has registered 50 draw controls, which is tied for fifth in the ACC. Goalkeeper Bridget Deehan, the 2020 Inside Lacrosse Breakthrough Player of the Year, has recorded 115 saves for a .467 save percentage.
