No. 45-Ranked Cardinals Break Into ITA Rankings

The University of Louisville women's tennis team broke into the national weekends as a team, along with singles player Andrea Di Palma and the doubles team of Tatiana Simova and Raven Neely.

Raven Neely and Tatiana Simova lead the team with a 9-4 doubles record, after handling Miami's No.2 duo 6-4 last time out. The pair just broke into the rankings at No. 24.

Andrea Di Palma breaks into the singles ranking at No. 87. She is 8-7 in singles play and is 5-1 at home in the Bass-Rudd Tennis Center.

Louisville (6-9, 3-7 ACC) plays Xavier on Friday, March 26 at noon at the Bass-Rudd Tennis Center. The Cardinals looks to recapture momentum in their final two non-conference matches. Louisville has remained tough out at home, boasting a 4-2 mark in The Ville. Raven Neely and Tatiana Simova lead the team with a 10-4 doubles record, after handling Miami's No.2 duo 6-4 last time out. Chelsea Sawyer secured the Cardinal's lone point at Miami, improving on her team-high nine singles wins this season.
