March 21, 2021 | Women's Lacrosse
Ally Hall led the Cardinals with five points on three goals and two assists.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Ally Hall registered a team-high three goals, but No. 19 University of Louisville women's lacrosse came up short 15-10 against No. 4 Notre Dame on Sunday afternoon.
Â
With the loss, the Cardinals move to 4-4 on the season and 0-3 in the ACC, while the Fighting Irish improve to 4-2 on the year and 1-2 in the league.
"I thought we battled hard throughout, but I didn't think we played the smartest game and we got away from our game plan at times," said head coach Scott Teeter. "We missed some opportunities today, but we just need to make some minor adjustments and get ready for next week."
Â

Â
Notre Dame scored to start the second half, but back-to-back goals by Paige Richbourg and Ally Hall cut the Irish's lead to three at 9-6. Later in the half, Louisville again scored two straight goals to cut the lead back to three, but they would not get any closer as they fell 15-10.
Â
Hall led the Cardinals with five points on three goals and two assists. Caroline Blalock added two goals, while Hannah Morris, Kokoro Nakazawa, Bella Karstien, Paige Richbourg, and Allegra Catalano had one goal each.
