GREENSBORO, N.C. (theACC.com) – University of Louisville's Nicolas Albiero has been named the ACC Men's Swimmer of the Week. It is the second such honor this season for Albiero and the fourth award as a program. Â

A native of Louisville, Kentucky, Albiero won four events in a 188-111 win over Kentucky. The senior took first in the 100 fly, 200 fly and was part of the winning teams in the 200 free relay and 400 medley relays.
His time of 46.12 in the 100 fly ranks him No. 14 in the country and his time of 1:41.90 is ranked No. 7 in the nation. He was also a part of the 200 Medley Relay that ranks No. 8 in the nation and was on the Top 10-ranked 400 Free relay that the Cards both won in Lexington.Â
