University of Louisville swimming Coach Arthur Albiero spoke with media representatives via a virtual news conference today.Â

Albiero and his staff have 15 athletes back on campus after COVID-19 Screening and are back training in the water. With pools shuttered across the nation due to the pandemic, his athletes have had to be creative in how they train. The Cards, who had 31 All-Americans on last year's squad, had qualified a total of 22 swimmers and six relay specialists when the 2020 NCAA Championships were canceled. The postponement of the Olympics to 2021 created an all new training schedule. Â
