Louisville, Ky – The University of Louisville women's team hits the road to take on the Eagles of Boston College on Saturday, March 14 at 5 p.m. The date of the match is a new one as the Eagles had a facility issue forcing them to move the competition.Â

Louisville is hoping to bounce back after falling to Wichita State and Notre Dame this past weekend. The Cards claimed the doubles point in both matches, making it six out of the previous seven matches that UofL has claimed the doubles point. Andrea Di Palma bounced back to earn two singles wins against ND and WSU, making her record 7-2. Raven Neely and Maia Haumuller improved their doubles record to 10-2 in the matches against the Fighting Irish and the Shockers.

Boston College is 9-5 on the season and will be coming off a Friday match against Wake Forest before playing the Cards on Sunday. Prior to that match, the Eagles are also winless in the ACC thus far this season, going 0-5. BC is led by Yufei Long, who is ranked 79th in singles and, along with teammate Kylie Wilcox, is ranked 38th in doubles. The Eagle's head coach is Nigel Bentley, who is in his 21st season leading Boston College.
