
Women’s Soccer Excels in the Classroom

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The University of Louisville women's soccer team completed a successful fall semester in the classroom, posting a 3.594 team grade-point average.
Louisville women's soccer has now successfully achieved above a 3.0 GPA every semester since 2000.
"This is a very difficult year in so many ways so I'm very proud of our players' commitment to their schoolwork and staying focused academically," said head coach Karen Ferguson-Dayes.
In addition, 25 of 28 players finished with a 3.0 or better, while 23 were recognized as Red & Black Scholar-Athletes for a cumulative GPA above 3.25. Nine were named Dean's Scholars for a perfect 4.0 GPA and an additional nine earned Dean's List for a 3.5-3.99 semester GPA. .
Eleven qualified as members of the Chi Alpha Sigma Honor Society, which recognizes junior and senior student-athletes with a cumulative GPA above 3.4.
Amari Hopkins and Gabby Kouzelos earned their degrees in the fall, while Emina Ekic is set to graduate this winter.
