Cardinals Host Saint Louis Thursday Night

LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- The Louisville women's soccer team will host Saint Louis on Thursday night at Dr. Mark and Cindy Lynn Stadium at 7:30 p.m.
The Cardinals opened the 2019 season with a 2-0 record. The Cardinals posted a 2-1 win over Ohio State on Thursday night and a 3-0 win over Morehead State on Sunday night.
Maisie Whitsett leads the Cardinals with two goals for four points. Arianna Ferraro leads the Cardinals with two assists. Junior keeper Gabby Kouzelos has a 2-0 record in goal with one shutout. She owns a .500 goals against average to start the season.
Head coach Karen Ferguson-Dayes is in her 20th season with the Cardinals. She has led Louisville to five NCAA tournament appearances, including a Sweet 16 appearance in 2011.
SCOUTING SAINT LOUIS
St. Louis enters the matchup against Louisville with a 1-1 overall record. The Billikens defeated Indiana State 2-1 while falling to Notre Dame 1-0 in the season opener.
The Billikens are led in scoring by Sophia Denison and Hannah Friedrich with one goal each. Goalkeeper Kasey Hartmann owns a 1-1 record on the season with a 1.00 goals against average.
