Cardinals Host No. 3 Duke and No. 17 Wake Forest

Friday and Sunday at the Bass-Rudd Tennis Center
The University of Louisville women's tennis team (10-7, 2-5) hosts a pair of ranked ACC opponents this weekend in No. 3 Duke and No. 17 Wake Forest. The Blue Devils (13-2, 5-1) are up first, traveling to the Bass-Rudd Tennis Center Friday, March 22 at 11 a.m. The Demon Deacons (15-3, 5-1) cap the weekend with a 12 p.m. start on Sunday, March 24.Â

Louisville is coming off a bye week while Duke and Wake Forest faced off last Friday, March 15 in a match that Duke won 7-0. The Cardinals are looking for their first win over both programs since joining the ACC. Head coach Mark Beckham said Duke has "off the chart" levels of talent.

Senior Sena Suswam posted a singles win over the Deacons last season with a 6-4, 6-2 win on court six. m The Cards nearly pulled off the upset the last time Wake Forest came to town (April 9, 2017), as the Deacons eked a 4-2 victory.Â
