ATLANTA -- The No. 69-ranked University of Louisville women's tennis team fell 4-0 to No. 61 Georgia Tech Friday evening in Atlanta.

Georgia Tech took the doubles point with wins at the No. 2 and No. 3 spots. In singles, No. 50-ranked Alejandra Cruz scored the first singles point with a 6-2, 6-2 win over UofL's Alice Otis at No. 1 singles. Next to fall was Rebekkah Gaines at No. 6, losing 6-3, 6-2 to Eleni Karantali. The match was clinched at the No. 4 spot where GT's Seri Nayuki beat Lika Peresypkina 6-3, 6-2.

The Cardinals will head to Clemson for a Sunday matchup with the Tigers at noon.
