Hartlage’s Top-10 Showing Paces Women's Golf at Liz Murphey Collegiate Classic

Lauren Hartlage finished eighth after shooting a 2-under-par 214.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Lauren Hartlage carded a 2-under-par 214 to finish eighth, pacing the University of Louisville women's golf team at the Liz Murphey Collegiate Classic in Athens, Ga.
The sophomore shot on Saturday a 3-over-par 75 at the University of Georgia Golf Course, placing in the top 10 for the seventh time this season. Hartlage into a tie for second on the school's single-season list for top-10 showings.
Aided by her opening round 6-under-par 66, Hartlage completed the tournament ahead of four individuals ranked in Golfstat's top 15.
Louisville wrapped up the event, which featured three teams in Golfstat's top five, in eighth place. The Cardinals registered a third-round score of 11-over-par 299 for a three-day score of 26-over-par 890. Alabama won the title with a 15-under-par 849.
The Cardinals, now turning their attention to the ACC Championship from April 21-23 in Greensboro, N.C., received a top-20 finish from Molly Skapik. The senior shot a 2-over-par 74 on the final day of competition, tying for 17th.
Olivia Cason recorded her best round on Saturday, with a 1-over-par 73. The junior moved up the leaderboard and tied for 28th with a 7-over-par 223.
Margot Bechadergue, who was making her first career appearance in the Cardinals' lineup, contributed the fourth-best score of the day with a 5-over-par 77. The freshman tied for 58th.
