
Louisville Wraps Fall Play at Alexa Stirling Intercollegiate

The Cardinals look to close the fall season with a strong showing in Georgia.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The University of Louisville women's golf team heads to Johns Creek, Ga. this weekend to conclude its fall schedule at the Alexa Stirling Women's Intercollegiate Invitational.

The 54-hole tournament features 11 teams and an 18-hole round Friday through Sunday. The Atlanta Athletic Club is a par-72, 6,210-yard course. The teams will tee off between 8:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. each morning.

Louisville's starting lineup consists of Lauren Hartlage, Lauren Thibodeau, Mairead Martin, Delaney Shah and Olivia Cason. Margot Bechadergue, Meghan Nay, and Linda Trockel will compete as individuals.

Martin led the way for the Cardinals at the Cardinal Cup last weekend, finishing at three-over to tie for sixth place, capturing her first top-10 finish of the season. Hartlage finished right behind her at four-over to tie for eighth place.

Thibodeau completed the Cardinal Cup at six-over, and wrapped the tournament with an impressive two-under 70 in her final round.

Shah also had a strong finish at the Cardinal Cup, shooting a one-under 71 in her final round, which marked her lowest round of the season. She finished the tournament tied for 15th. Cason finished tied for 27th.

In their first action of the year, Trockel finished the Cardinal Cup in 19th place, while Nay finished tied for 40th.

Bechadergue saw action for the third time this season at the Cardinal Cup and improved her score each round, concluding the tournament tied for 31st.
