Women’s Golf Announces 2026-27 Schedule

The Cardinals will take part in nine tournaments over the fall and spring seasons
LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Head coach Whitney Young is excited to announce the 2026-27 women's golf schedule Thursday afternoon. The schedule features nine regular season tournaments over the fall and spring seasons. In the spring season, the Cardinals will host the 10th annual Moon Golf Tournament down in Melbourne, Florida.
The season begins in the Hoosier state for the Cardinals as they travel to Lafayette, Indiana to take part in the Boilermaker Classic. The two-date event is hosted by Purdue and will be held on August 31-September 1. The Cardinals competed in this event in 2023 and finished in fourth place out of 15 teams.
Later in September, the Cardinals head down I-65 for the Mason Rudolph Championship. Held in Franklin, Tennessee and hosted by Vanderbilt, the three-day tournament will be held from September 18-20. This will be the third time over the last four seasons that the Cardinals have competed in the event.
The Cards will be back in action the very next week as they head back to the state of Indiana. Louisville will take part in the Fighting Irish Classic, hosted by Notre Dame from September 26-27. It is the first time the Cards will take part in this event.
Another first time event is up next for the Cardinals as they head to Virginia for the Evie Odom Invitational. Hosted by Old Dominion, the tournament will be held in Virginia Beach from October 9-11.
The final tournament of the fall season has the Cardinals heading to Texas for the Abilene Christian Invitational. Held in Granbury, Texas, the tournament will be from October 19-21.
The spring season begins in Melbourne, Florida as the Cardinals play host to the 10th annual Moon Golf Invitational from Suntree Country Club. The three-day tournament will be held from February 14-16.
The Cardinals head back to the Lone Star state in March as they compete in the Alamo Invitational. Hosted by UTSA and held in San Antonio, the tournament will be held from March 9-10.
Later in March, the Cardinals head to South Carolina to take part in the Clemson Invitational. Hosted in Sunset, South Carolina, the event will take place from March 21-23.
The final regular season tournament of the season keeps the Cardinals in the Commonwealth as they head down I-65 for the Olde Stone Intercollegiate. Hosted by Western Kentucky in Bowling Green, the tournament will be held from April 5-6.
The 2027 ACC Championships will be hosted at the Sedgefield Country Club in Greensboro, North Carolina. The four-day event will be held from April 15-18. The NCAA Regionals will be hosted at campus sites from May 10-12 and then the top five teams from each regional will advance to the NCAA Championships, held at the Omni La Costa Resort and Spa in Carlsbad, California.
