Swimming and Diving Earns CSCAA Scholar All-America Honors

The UofL women posted the fourth best GPA among Division I institutions for the Fall 2017 semester.
The University of Louisville men's and women's swimming and diving teams each earned College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Scholar All-America honors for the Fall 2017 semester, which was announced on Monday, January 29.

Across the nation, 688 teams from 430 different institutions earned the distinction of Scholar All-America team for the Fall 2017 semester. To be considered for the honor, teams must post a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.

Last semester, the Louisville women made history in the classroom, posting the highest GPA in program history. With a collective 3.69, the Cardinals rank fourth among all of Division I and boast the top GPA in the ACC.

The Louisville men also had a successful semester in the classroom, tallying a 3.06 GPA. The Cardinals are one of 96 Division I programs to receive the honor.
