Cardinals host nationally ranked Seminoles
LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- Coming off a 2-0 conference loss to Boston College, the University of Louisville women's soccer team looks to rebound against No. 23 Florida State University Thursday night. The Cardinals bring a 6-3-0 overall and a 0-1-0 league record into the match.
Still leading the way for the Cards with four goals and one assist, freshman midfielder Emina Ekic has registered nine points this season. Sophomore Allision Whitfield ranks second on the team in scoring, with three goals and one assist.
Redshirt freshman goalkeeper, Gabby Kouzelos holds a 1.15 goals against average through nine matches. Kouzelos has recorded 20 saves for the Cardinals with three shutouts.Â

Head coach Karen Ferguson-Dayes is in her 18th season with the Cardinals. She has led Louisville to four NCAA tournament appearances, including a Sweet 16 appearance in 2011.
