Five Cardinals Head to Finals on Last Day of World Championship Trials

Sprinters put up fast numbers for the Cards in prelims.

The University of Louisville swimmers will send five Cardinals into finals in the final evening of competition at the 2017 U.S. Nationals & World Championship Trials at the IU Natatorium on the campus of IUPUI.

"Another great session," said UofL coach Arthur Albiero. "How about Rachael Bradford Feldman making the A-Final, I was very proud."

In the 200M IM, Rachael Bradford Feldman made the A-final with 2:13.97 to qualify 7^th^. Teammate Grace Oglesby puts up a 2:21.08 in the same event. On the men's side Jonathan Zoucha touched in 2:06.18 in the 200M IM.

Mallory Comerford threw down a 24.88 in the 50M Free to qualify second just behind Simone Manuel. Kelsi Worrell boarded a 25.03 to qualify fifth overall. Casey Fanz snuck in the B-Final with a 25.67. Lainey Visscher will be the top seed in the C-final with a 25.70 in the event. Avery Braunecker went 26.37 in the 50M freestyle.

On the men's side, Nick Albiero put up a 23.89 in the 50M Free.
