Cardinals Swimmers Send Two to Finals at World Trials

Andrea Cottrell and Nick Albiero will return tonight.
After a relatively light day of racing for the University of Louisville swimming team, the Cardinals will send two swimmers to the finals at the 2017 U.S. Nationals & World Championship Trials at the  IU Natatorium on the campus of IUPUI.

As a birthday present to herself, Andrea Cottrell made tonight's A-final in the 100M breaststroke with a 1:08.20. Â Nick Albiero went 55.61 in the 100M back and qualified 14th overall and will return for the finals.
Sofie Underdahl went 1:03.57 in the 100M Backstroke in prelims .Casey Fanz posted a time of 1:03.27 in the same event.
