The 2017 event marks the 29th ACC Championship in league history and the first time it has been staged in the state of South Carolina.
Louisville, which is making its third appearance at the event, finished seventh the past two seasons. Prior to joining the ACC, head coach Courtney Trimble directed the Cardinals to a second-place finish in the 2013 BIG EAST Championship and a team title at the 2014 AAC Championship.
The Cardinals, through 10 events this season, have collected four top-five finishes in tournament play. Last time out, Louisville finished 11th at the Clemson Invitational after shooting a 28-over-par 892.
Louisville features a lineup that consists of Olivia Cason, Lauren Hartlage, Molly Skapik, Jacqueline Twitty, and Shannon Gramley.
Hartlage, who boasts the team's highest Golfstat ranking at No. 79, has put together a remarkable freshman season. She has a team-leading 73.25 stroke average, with five top-10 finishes, and 13 rounds even or below par.
Cason, also making her first appearance at the ACC Championship, is second on the team with a 74.75 average. She has eight rounds even or below par, totaling three top-10 finishes.
Skapik played in the ACC Championship last year, tying for 24th. This season, she has improved her stroke average to 75.32, with six rounds even or below par.
Twitty, who is fourth in stroke average, has four top-20 finishes, while Gramley has played in five tournaments this year and earned one top-10 finish.
