Cardinals wrap up a two game road stint at Virginia Tech on Saturday
LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- The University of Louisville lacrosse team travels to Blacksburg, Va. for a conference duel with No. 12 Virginia Tech on Saturday at 1:00 p.m.

Louisville (9-4, 1-2) fell 12-8 to Northwestern on Sunday. Senior Hannah Koloski led all scorers with four goals and one assist. Freshman Ashley Lynch scored two goals and assisted on another. Sophomore Meghan Siverson scored one goal and tallied one assist. Junior keeper Brittany Read stopped nine shots in the loss.

Koloski, who is sixth in the nation with 3.77 goals per game, leads the Cards with 49 points and two assists for 51 points. Siverson (41g, 4a) and McKayla Conti (22g, 5a) have 45 points and 27 points, respectively. Madison Hoover leads the team with 14 assists, while Lynch has 13. Read carries an 8.82 goals against average, 125 saves, and a .523 save percentage into Saturdays game. Read's stats are good for 13th, second, and seventh in the nation, respectively.

Virginia Tech (11-3, 2-1) is coming off a 14-6 loss to UNC on Tuesday. Senior Kristine Loscalzo scored three goals to lead the Hokie attack, while three others scored one goal apiece. Junior keeper Meagh Graham stopped 13 shots in the losing effort.

The Hokies are lead by Junior Tristan McGinley with 45 points from 39 goals and six assists, while Loscalzo (40g, 3a) has 43 points and sophomore Zan Biedenharn has a balanced attack of 26 goals and 14 assists for 40 points. Goalkeeper Meagh Graham carries an 8.33 goals-against average, 82 saves, and a .453 save percentage into Sunday's bout.
