
Swimming Qualifies Three on Final Day of NCAA's

400-free relay headlines final day for UofL
INDIANAPOLIS – The Cardinals qualified in three events as the University of Louisville swimming and diving team competed on the final day of prelims from IU Natatorium on the campus of IUPUI.

In the first event of the day, Alina Kendzior finished just three-hundredths off her school record to finish 28th with a time of 1:53.64.

Mallory Comerford finished just .14 off her school record in the 100-free to finish in third with a time of 46.89 to move on to tonight's A-final. Lainey Visscher boarded a time of 49.38 to finish 47th.

Andrea Cottrell placed eighth in the 200-breast with a time of 2:07.45 to qualify for tonight's A-final. Rachael Bradford-Feldman posted a personal best 2:10.32 to place 22nd.

Grace Oglesby just missed out on the B-final of the 200-fly as she posted a time of 1:55.85, just .33 off the 16th place finish. Abbie Houck recorded a 1:56.97 in the 200-fly to finish in 28th.

In the 400-free relay, the Cards boarded a time of 3:12.61 put up by Lainey Visscher (48.81), Mallory Comerford (47.04), Casey Fanz (48.17), and Nastja Govejsek (48.59) to qualify seventh in tonight's A-final.

In the platform diving event, Molly Fears scores 221.60 to finish 31st in the platform diving prelims.

The finals of the NCAA Women's Championship will commence at 6:00 p.m. EST.
