Women's Soccer Nadege L’Esperance Called Up to Canadian U20 Camp

L'Esperance starter Canadian Nation Team Camp this month
LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- Louisville freshman Nadege L'Esperance was called up by the U20 Canadian National team Canada Soccer's EXCEL Program, for team camp in its final preparation for the 2018 CONCACAF Women's Under-20 Championship. The camp will run from Dec. 10-17, 2017. L'Esperance is one of 26 players selected.
The 2018 CONCACAF Women's U-20 Championship features eight nations divided into two groups of four teams. The top two finishers in each group will qualify for the semifinals, with the winners of those games along with the winner of the third-place match earning berths to the 2018 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup in France.
The Canada Soccer's Women's U-20 Team has been drawn into Group A against hosts Trinidad & Tobago, Costa Rica and a Caribbean nation yet to be determined for the 2018 CONCACAF Women's Under-20 Championship coming up in January 2018. Group B will see the United States joined by Nicaragua, Mexico and an additional Caribbean nation to yet to be determined.
