Divers Make Zone Cuts at Miami Diving Invite

Molly Fears punches her ticket to Zones

The University of Louisville divers made NCAA Zone cuts at the Miami Diving Invitational.

In the women's 3 meter springboard, Molly Fears was 4th overall in finals with a 319.75 and went a personal best in prelims with a socre of 331.95. Both scores are NCAA zone cuts.

Brianna Price was 7th overall with a 265.50 (271.75 in prelims) and Michaela Sliney was 9th overall with a 275.75 (266.10 in prelims).

In men's 1 meter, Daniel Fecteau was 3rd overall with a personal best mark of 349.60. This is also an NCAA zone cut (316.25 in prelims).

Daniel Pinto finished 7th overall with a 285.40 (273.15 in prelims), while Sean Riley finished 10th overall with a score of 279.00. (243.80 in prelims) and Evan Cooper finished 17th with a score of 243.35t

On Thursday, Fecteau set a school record and an NCAA Zone cut with a score of 350.70 in the 3 meter. Molly Fears made an NCAA Zone cut, with a mark of 239.85.
