
Claverie Wins the 200M Breaststroke in Mesa Day 3 Finals

The University of Louisville swimming team notched another victory at the Day 3 finals of the Arena Pro Series at Mesa in Mesa, Ariz. at the Skyline Aquatic Center.
Freshman Carlos Claverie completed the sweep of the breast events with a win in the 200-meter breaststroke. He went 2:14.31, dropping 2.36 from this morning's prelims.
Kelsi Worrell touches 6th in the 200-M Butterfly dropping 1.33 from her prelim time.
Kelsi Worrell won the B final of women's 50-meter free in 25.27, dropping .71 overall. Teammate Andrea Kneppers was 12th in 25.96.
Andrea Cottrell finished 7th in the 200-M Breaststroke with a 2:34.19, cutting .43 from her prelim time.
Freshman Marcelo Acosta touched fourth in 3:55.44 in the 400-meter freestyle.
