
Women's Swimming NCAA Roster Announced

Five members of the No. 20-ranked University of Louisville women's swimming and diving team were selected to compete at the NCAA Championships, held March 19-21 in Greensboro, North Carolina.
The swimmers include seniors Tanja Kylliainen and Abigail Chin, juniors Kelsi Worrell and Andrea Kneppers and sophomore Andrea Cottrell.
The Cardinals also qualified all five relays, meaning sophomores Maggie Patterson and Abigail Houck along with freshman sprinter Rachel Grooms and senior backstroker Erica Belcher will attend as part of those relay teams only.
Worrell has the top qualifying time in the nation in the 100-fly with a 50.17. She also qualified seventh in the 200-fly with a 1:54.29 and 14th in the 50-free in 22.01.
Tanja Kylliainen is ranked third in the nation in the 400-IM with a 4:04.21 and sixth in the 200-IM (1:55.72). She has the third fastest time on the psych sheet in the 200-fly with a time of 1:53.19.
Abigail Chin is 33rd in the 400-IM with a qualifying time of 4:11.32.
Andrea Kneppers is 28th in the 200-freestyle, posting a 1:45.62.
Andrea Cottrell is sixth in the 200breast with a time of 2:08.48 and ninth in the 100-breast with a qualifying mark of 59.27.
In the relays, UofL has the sixth fastest qualifying time in the 400-medley relay with a mark of 3:31.58 and are seventh in the 200-medley relay with a 1:36.30. The Cards are 15th in both the 400-free relay (3:15.90) and 800-free relay (7:05.75). UofL got a provisional qualifying mark in the 200-free relay with a 1:29.98.
