LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The Louisville athletics department has released details of the 2015 baseball promotional calendar, which includes an array of fan-friendly special events and season-long promotions at Jim Patterson Stadium for the Cardinals' inaugural season in the Atlantic Coast Conference.
The 33-game home schedule features great giveaways, the return of fan favorites and the introduction of special offers, which allow fans to experience all the ballpark's offerings at exceptional values. Promotions and game times are subject to change.
The excitement begins with the 2015 home-opener against Eastern Kentucky on Feb. 18 at 3 p.m., ET when fans can celebrate the Louisville baseball program's 98th season and the 11th season calling Patterson Stadium home. Along with the pregame festivities and introductions prior to first pitch, the first 500 fans through the gates and pick up the exclusive 2015 Louisville Baseball schedule poster featuring the Cardinals seniors.

2015 Special Events
Elementary School Day: March 17 vs. Purdue, Noon
Hosting its sixth annual event, Louisville Baseball is excited to welcome more than 30 area schools for Elementary School Day. Combining the best of baseball and education, the day will highlight the importance of healthy eating habits and physical fitness while teaching good sportsmanship behavior. The kids will enjoy lots of activities and see the Cardinals battle Purdue. Click here for additional information.
Louisville Legends Game: April 19 vs. Wake Forest, 1 p.m.
During this special event, Cardinals baseball will turn back the clock to celebrate its more than 100 years of baseball history by honoring great teams and alumni, our "Louisville Legends". Pregame festivities and special offerings will be included.
Cancer Awareness Night: April 22 vs. Western Kentucky, 6 p.m.
Join Louisville Baseball for their annual Cancer Awareness Night as the Cardinals continue their commitment to generating awareness for cancer research programs. Louisville will wear special black jerseys and hats featuring pink lettering during the game and fans are encouraged to visit the information fair and booths prior to the game. Pink lemonade will be sold with $1 from every sale going to support Home Runs for Hope, a fundraiser with all of the proceeds benefiting Gilda's Club of Louisville.
Patriotic Game presented by KY National Guard: April 24 vs. Bethune-Cookman, 6 p.m.
To honor those who serve and have served our country, Louisville Baseball will salute the men and women of the Armed Forces and Louisville-area First Responders during the annual Patriotic Game presented by the Kentucky National Guard. The Cardinals will wear commemorative jerseys and hats with a unique patriotic Cardinals logo during the game and fans are encouraged to wear their Red, White, and Blue in support of the event.
MLB's Pitch, Hit, & Run: April 26 vs. Bethune-Cookman, 1 p.m.
Join in Major League Baseball's Pitch, Hit & Run competition and have a chance to reach the national finals at the MLB All-Star Game! PHR is a FREE, exciting skills event for boys and girls where participants have the opportunity to compete in four levels of competition. Louisville will host a local competition for boys ages 7 to 13. The event requires pre-registration (beginning in early March) and will be conducted on the field following the game.

Team Poster Giveaway: Feb. 18 vs. Eastern Kentucky, 3 p.m.

Schedule Keychain Giveaway: Feb. 24 vs. Butler, 3 p.m.
The first 500 fans to Patterson Stadium will receive the 2015 home schedule keytag, a convenient reminder on your key ring of when to watch the Cardinals this season.
College World Series Pennants: March 6 vs. Miami, 3 p.m.
Three College World Series appearances in eight seasons, including back-to-back trips to Omaha, are something to celebrate! Make some room on the wall and pick-up a team pennant featuring Louisville's three CWS seasons. Available to the first 750 fans through the gates.
ACC Baseballs presented by Sun Tan City: March 28 vs. Georgia Tech, 1 p.m.
Get your hands on this replica game-like baseball recognizing Louisville's inaugural season in the Atlantic Coast Conference. Available to the first 750 fans at the ballpark.
Team Photo Giveaway: April 25 vs. Bethune-Cookman, 1 p.m.
Arrive early to receive an 8x11 team photo of the 2015 Cardinals. Available to the first 500 fans through the gates.
Louisville Slugger Mini-Bats: May 8 vs. Florida State, 6 p.m.
The first 250 fans to the game will receive a commemorative mini-bat from Louisville Slugger.
2015 Season-Long Promotions
FREE Baseball? Oh, Yes! It's FREE Baseball!
The Louisville Cardinals are committed to providing the best fans with the best college baseball experience. With unprecedented access to the nationally-ranked Cardinals, the University of Louisville will once again offer free admission to 32 of the 33 home games this season! The only ticketed-event is on April 8. (Click here for ticket information). For every other home game, you can bring the entire family and enjoy FREE baseball when you visit Jim Patterson Stadium.
FRIDAY: Budweiser Buck Night
Come thirsty and leave happy on Budweiser Buck Nights! Every Friday, fans can purchase draft beer and small Pepsi products for just $1 each throughout the ballpark courtesy of Budweiser. Get the weekend series started off right with this fan-favorite dollar deal! EVERY FRIDAY!
SATURDAY: BBQ on the Berm
With perfect views of the action and close access to the Sun Tan City Patio and playground, who would ever leave the outfield berm? Now you can enjoy $3 hamburgers and $2 beer specials every Saturday afternoon with BBQ on the Berm. EVERY SATURDAY!
SUNDAY: Visionworks Family Fun Day
Join in on all of the fun every Sunday this season! All eight Sunday home games will feature special family entertainment and activities presented by Visionworks including inflatable games. Also, kids can run the bases after the game and select players will sign autographs on the field. Plus dollar hot dogs will be available at the concessions. EVERY SUNDAY!
Cardinals Cap Day
Wear your Cardinals hat to the ballpark and get rewarded! On select Saturdays this season, fans who enter the stadium wearing any Louisville ball cap will receive a voucher for free 32oz. tub of popcorn. This promotion is scheduled for February 21, February 28, March 7, March 14 and March 28.
T-Shirt Tuesdays
Cardinals fans should look like Cardinals fans. So, Louisville Baseball is making sure you are decked out in the latest gear with T-Shirt Tuesdays. On select Tuesday nights, the first fans through the gates will receive a specially designed Louisville Baseball t-shirt. Don't' miss this exciting giveaway on March 10, March 31, and May 12.
Family Allergy & Asthma's Trading Cards Giveaway
Looking to get your hands on the limited edition 2015 Louisville Baseball trading cards? Well here is your chance! The trading cards feature student-athletes and coaches from the 2015 team and a specially-released Louisville Legends card with famous Cardinals alumni. The trading cards are printed courtesy of Family Allergy & Asthma. Collect all five packs throughout the season! Ten cards will be given out each day on March 8, March 11, March 29, April 18, and May 9.

Jim Patterson Stadium is the perfect spot for a birthday party, and cheering on Louisville Baseball to a win is a guaranteed good time! You have the opportunity to select one of two youth birthday packages that include free admission to a game of your choice, on-field recognition, access to the left field playground, and much more. You are invited to enjoy a day out at the ballpark! Here is your chance to have a group outing for your organization or team at Jim Patterson Stadium. The Sun Tan City Patio is a free, covered patio area located on the top level of a three-tiered turf berm in left field. Annually this hot spot attracts groups of 30 to 100. Anthem Buddies
Calling all area youth Little League teams, 6th grade and younger, to join the Cardinals on the field! Anthem Buddies join the Cardinals on the field during pre-game festivities prior to standing next to the Cardinals for the national anthem. Admission to baseball games is FREE. Home Runs for Hope Program
"Home Runs for Hope" is a fundraiser with all of the proceeds benefiting Gilda's Club of Louisville. Partners with "Home Run for Home" make a financial pledge for every home run hit by the University of Louisville baseball team and all of the proceeds go to Gilda's Club, which is a network of affiliate clubhouses where men, women and children living with cancer, as well as their friends and families, meet to learn how to live with cancer, whatever the outcome.
