
Cardinals Recruiting Class Ranked No. 8 Nationally by D1Baseball

Louisville’s 2015 class receives third top 25 ranking – also ranked 10th by Baseball America, 21st by Collegiate Baseball newspaper
LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The Louisville baseball program's 2015 recruiting class received its third and highest top 25 ranking on Thursday when D1Baseball.com ranked the class No. 8 nationally.
The 2015 recruiting class was ranked No. 10 in the nation earlier this month by Baseball America and was listed at No. 21 overall by Collegiate Baseball newspaper last month. Louisville recruiting classes have received top 25 national rankings six times in the last eight years. The Cardinals were ranked third among five ACC schools in the D1Baseball.com Top 25 – No. 4 Georgia Tech, No. 5 Florida State, No. 8 Louisville, No. 13 North Carolina and No. 14 Virginia.
In its analysis of the Louisville recruiting class, assembled by head coach Dan McDonnell, associate head coach Roger Williams and recruiting coordinator Eric Snider, D1Baseball.com identified righthanded pitchers Sam Bordner, Noah Burkholder, Bryan Hoeing and Riley Thompson and infielder Devin Mann as the stars of the class. Additionally, infielder Daniel Little and Adam Wolf were tabbed as sleepers in the talented and deep class of newcomers.
