
Women's Swimming Completes NCAA Day 1 Prelims

As NCAA action got underway at the Women's Swimming Championships and already the University of Louisville women's team has set a school record at the Indiana Natatorium on the campus of IUPUI in Indianapolis.
In the 200-free relay, the foursome of Kelsi Worrell (22.55), Krissie Brandenburg (22.61), Grite Apanaviciute (22.66) and Breann McDowell (22.69) combined to post a 1:30.51
In the 500-freestyle, Abby Chin posted a 2:014.15, to finish 8th in her heat. In the 200-IM, Tanja Kylliainen made the B-final with a 1:57.08, qualifying 13th, setting a new school record.
In the 400-medley relay, the Cards were disqualified and the foursome of Krissie Brandenburg, Gisselle Kohoyda, Kelsi Worrell and Breann McDowell did not advance.
