Swim Signee Finishes 7th in 10K Open Water National Championship

University of Louisville men's swimming signee Bryan Dragonowsky of Germantown Academy Aquatic Club in Blue Bell, Pa. finished seventh in the 10k Open Water National Championship in Miromar Lakes Beach and Golf Club in Miromar Lakes, Fla.
The incoming freshman put up a time of 1:58.31.69, just 39 seconds off the winning time, beating Alex Meyer, who finished 10th and who will swim in the Olympic Qualifier.
The 2012 10K Open Water National Championships will serve as the Trials for the USA Swimming National Open Water Team and National Junior Open Water Team. The Women's 10K Championships will also serve as the selection for the Olympic Qualifying Event to be held in Setubal Portugal.
