Swimming and Diving Are Top Ranked Team In BIG EAST

The University of Louisville men's and women's swimming and diving teams are in the latest TYR/CSCAA Division I Dual Meet Poll. The latest poll shows U of L men in the No. 19 and the women up one to No. 15 in the nation.
Seventy women's and fifty-two men's teams received votes by coaches. For most teams, this poll will be the final ranking prior to the conference championship season. A final poll will be released following the conclusion of the conference championships.
U of L divers will have the home pool advantage as they host the BIG EAST Diving Championships Feb. 11-13 at the Ralph Wright Natatorium on the U of L campus. Competition begins at noon on Friday, Feb. 11 when the men's 1-meter and the women's 3-meter goes into prelims. Finals begin at 6 p.m.
The Cardinal swim team will host the BIG EAST Feb. 16-19 also at the Ralph Wright Natatorium.
