Raine Thompson Named BIG EAST Swimmer of the Week

University of Louisville sophomore Raine Thompson was named the BIG EAST Female Swimming & Diving Athlete of the Week after turning in impressive performances.
Thompson posted two individual wins in the Cardinals' 211-83 victory over Cincinnati Jan. 15. She finished the 200-yard butterfly in 2:03.14 and the 500-yard freestyle in 4:58.62. The sophomore also assisted in the winning 400 medley relay, which posted a pool record time of 3:45.37. She swam the butterfly leg of the race in 55.27 seconds.
