Hannah Gadd Named BIG EAST Diver of the Week

University of Louisville freshman Hannah Gadd won both diving events versus No. 14 Indiana last Friday to be named BIG EAST Female Athlete of the Week.
Gadd captured first place in the 1-meter diving and the 3-meter diving against the Hoosiers. The freshman posted scores of 295.50 in 1-meter diving and a pool record of 330.23 in 3-meter diving.
"She won both boards strong off boards and finished well with her competitive spirit coming out," said U of L Head Diving Coach Mike Zehnder. "She really wasn't expecting to do as well as she did, but after her first couple of dives, her confidence skyrocketed and she was not going to let them win."
The Cardinals are preparing for their BIG EAST Championship Feb. 17-21 hosted by the University of Pittsburgh.
