Matt Schlytter, of the prestigious Bolles Sharks Swim Club, has signed a national letter of intent to continue his swimming career with the University of Louisville, announced U of L head coach Arthur Albiero.
Schlytter, a native of Ponte Vedra, Florida, will swim sprints for the Cardinals. An accomplished swimmer, Matt was the Florida State Champion in the 50 free and is coached by Sergio Lopez and Jason Calanog.
"We are excited for Matt to join an already strong incoming freshman class. Matt has proven to be one of the top sprint freestyle talents in the country, and will have an immediate impact in those events at the Big East and NCAA level," said Arthur Albiero. " He also adds tremendous depth and versatility for our relays. Matt has been extremely well coached at one the countries' most storied and decorated club teams and we look for big things from him in the coming years."
