LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The University of Louisville baseball program officially opened the 2007 season on Thursday by hosting its media day activities at Jim Patterson Stadium on the U of L campus. Head coach Dan McDonnell and selected Cardinal players met with reporters to preview the upcoming season, UofL's second as a member of the BIG EAST Conference.
The Cardinals' 2007 season-opener is set for Tuesday, Feb. 13 at 2 p.m. ET at Patterson Stadium as UofL hosts Murray State. UofL's BIG EAST Conference opening series is set for March 23-25 at Villanova, while the Cards first home BIG EAST series is scheduled for March 30-April 1 against West Virginia.
