Winston-Salem, NC -- Lena Ustymenko and Sonja Percan each had 15 kills to lead the University of Louisville to a 30-23, 30-28, 31-29 win over Wake Forest.
"This was a very competitive match and we had to make adjustments on the fly to win," said Leonid Yelin, U of L head coach.
After trading points in the early going of the first game, U of L used a 9-3 run to go up 26-18 on the Demon Deacons. The Cardinals hit .567 with 18 kills on 30 attacks.
