Weather Wipes out Second Game in as Many Days

KANNAPOLIS, N.C. - Persistent rains has wiped out the second game in as many days between the University of Louisville Cardinals and the Charlotte 49ers on Saturday.
The teams were rained out on Friday as well and will now play two seven-inning games on Sunday, with with first pitch slated for 10:00 a.m.
The teams are playing at Fieldcrest Cannon Stadium, the home of the Kannapolis Intimidators, single A affiliate of the Chicago White Sox in the South Atlantic League.
Louisville is 22-12 overall and 8-7 in C-USA, while Charlotte is 15-17 overall and 6-8 in C-USA. The Cards will return home after the Sunday games on Tuesday at 6:00 p.m. to host Kentucky at Slugger Field.
