Frolich-Hansen Named C-USA Player of the Week

University of Louisville's freshman tennis player MARIE LOUISE FROLICH-HANSEN of Arhus, Denmark is the Conference USA Women's Player of the Week for the period ending Jan. 13.
Playing in her first-ever dual match for the Cardinals, Frolich-Hansen helped U of L to its first win over a Big Ten school since 1985-86, with a 5-2 upset victory over No. 64 Michigan State on Monday in Nashville. At No. 1 singles, Frolich-Hansen defeated Caroline Lay 1-6, 6-3, 6-4 and teamed with Kelly Taylor at No. 1 doubles for a 8-6 win over the Spartan duo of Caroline Lay and Asa Liden.
