Cardinal Athletics Announces Baseball Lead-Off Dinner

The 2002 Cardinal Baseball Lead-Off Dinner will be held February 6, at 7:30 p.m. in the Brown & Williamson Club at Papa John's Cardinal Stadium. The dinner will get fans familiar with the 2002 Cardinal baseball team which returns 17 players from the 2001 squad which posted the fifth-best turnaround in the Division I ranks with a 32-29 record.
Special guests at the event include Luis Gonzalez of the World Champion Arizona Diamondbacks, Derek Jeter of the New York Yankees, Fred McGriff of the Chicago Cubs and Tino Martinez of the St. Louis Cardinals. There will be no autograph session with the special guests.
