Women's Tennis to Play at Kentucky

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- The University of Louisville women's tennis team will play intra-state rival Kentucky on Friday, Jan. 26 at the University of Kentucky. The match time has been moved from 5 p.m. to 10 a.m.
Louisville is led by fourth-year seniors Katie McLaughlin at the No. 1 spot and Kelly Whitler at the No. 3 seed. The two seniors combine to play the top seed in doubles.
The Cards (2-3) are coming off of a 5-2 loss to Tennessee Tech. In that match, freshmen Julie Penn and Mariana Torres recorded U of L's singles points. The Wildcats are currently ranked No. 32 in the Wingspan.com Collegiate Tennis Rankings, this will be their first match of the spring season.
