2011: Tanya earned a starting role when Gwen Rucker went down with an injury. She led the team in blocks, with 105 blocks (1.06/set) for the season. She was fifth on the team with 123 kills (1.24/set ). Tennessee Tech: Recorded two kills and two blocks. Season highlights included tying a career high with five blocks against Virginia, a mark she reset against Illinois with seven total blocks, fi ve block assists and two solo blocks, Against DePaul, she notched a season-high 10 kills followed by nine blocks against Notre Dame. She followed that up against Georgetown with nine blocks. Against Pittsburgh, she had three key kills and a block to help Louisville avenge their only regular season BIG EAST loss. In the NCAA, versus Ball State she added four kills and four blocks and had 10 kills and hit a torrid .643 against Purdue in the NCAA second round match.
2010: Tanya appeared in two sets against Kentucky recording a kill, a dig and a block assist. She played in one set against Butler, registering a block assist. She recorded 11 kills during the match against Seton Hall to go along with career-high four block assists and added four kills against Rutgers. Setting a new career-high with 12 kills against Connecticut, she also had three digs. Against St. John's, she added ten kills and had five kills during the victory over DePaul. She recorded one dig against Cincinnati and had a kill against Lipscomb and one ace against Georgetown. She notched one kill and two total blocks against Villanova. Against Pitt, she added a kill and a block and had one kill at Syracuse.
2009: Lukyanenko comes to U of L as a junior college transfer. She helped the Laramie County Community College Golden Eagles go 29-6 and a 10-3 Region IX record and a fourth place national tournament finish. She opened up the Region IX Tournament by knocking down 19 kills to go along with two service aces. She added 16 kills and two blocks against Eastern Wyoming in the tournament. She was selected to the NJCAA Division I All-American Honorable Mention team. This is an honor for which only 30 players are selected for the first, second and honorable mention team. Lukyanenko played all 38 games and finished with 419 kills, 107 digs, 103 blocks, 37 aces, and six assists. The NJCAA ranked Lukyanenko eighth in the nation for kills and 43rd in the nation for block. She was named All-Conference, All-Region, All-NJCAA Tournament and was Region IX Freshman of the Year.
High School: She played at the same high school as Louisville star Lola Arslanbekova for Mikhail Kolesnikov, father of another U of L star, Tatyana Kolesnikova.
