Cards Place Seven on ACC Academic List

LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- The University of Louisville volleyball team placed seven Cardinals on the ACC All-Academic Team.Â

Academic requirements for selection to the All-ACC Academic Team are a 3.0-grade point average for the previous semester and a 3.0 cumulative average during one's academic career. In addition, student-athletes must compete in at least 50 percent of their team's contests.

UofL's Hannah Sherman, Kamden Schrand, Payton Petersen, Hannah Kenny, Cara Cresse, Chloe Chicoine and Nayelis Cabello earned a spot on the list to represent the Cards.Â

Cabello, Chicoine, Petersen, and Cresse were all members of the AVCA All-South Region with Cresse, Cabello and Chicoine going on to be voted as an All-American. In addition, Cabello, Chicoine and Cresse were voted First Team All-ACC while Petersen earned a spot on the Second Team.
